Taking place on a closed course within and around the Redmond Town Center shopping mall, the FootZone 5K is one of the safest and flattest 5K routes around. With a course route elevation gain that is less than 6 inches, the FootZone 5K attracts a large number of runners that are looking for a flat and fun course that you can improve your 5K time on. The closed course with minimal traffic also provides a safe environment for families with younger kids, strollers and dogs.

Support Our Cause
The Washington State Council of Fire Fighters (WSCFF) was founded on September 1, 1939, and represents 130 affiliated local fire fighter unions and more than 6900 affiliated members of the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) within the state.
The WSCFF’s mission is to provide the best possible working conditions, the safest work environment, and the fairest wages and benefits to fulfill the needs of the men and women in this profession. The council is active on local and national fronts with regard to issues that affect its members.
The WSCFF administers several major programs in addition to political action. Education is provided through regional classes and one comprehensive educational seminar per year. An annual convention is held to elect officers and determine policy and direction of the WSCFF. Legal assistance is provided through direct response financial loans or retention of counsel. Directions from Seattle
head east on SR 520, take the W. Lake Sammamish Park Way NE exit, turn left on W. Lake Sammamish Park Way NE, turn right on Leary Way NE, turn right on NE 76th Street and then turn into Redmond Town Center.
Directions from Kirkland or the North Eastside
Take the NE 85th Street exit off of I-405 and head east on Redmond Way. Once in downtown Redmond, veer right onto Cleveland Street. Turn right on 166th Ave NE and enter into Redmond Town Center.
Directions from Woodinville
Head south on the Woodinville Redmond Highway (SR522) until downtown Redmond, turn left on Cleveland Street, turn right on 166th Ave NE and enter into Redmond Town Center.
Timing
The Foot Zone 5K will be timed by using the End:Result Company. All participants must wear a chip to receive a time. There will be a $30 fee for any time chips not returned.
